9-3 doesn't get you in the Sugar bowl son.

Even if Auburn beats Alabama, I really don't think the Sugar Bowl will take a 2 loss Arkansas.
NCG:
Oregon
Auburn
ROSE:
TCU
Wisconsin
FIESTA:
Pitt
Big XII champ (Probably winner of OU-OK ST)
ORANGE:
Virginia Tech
Stanford/Ohio State
SUGAR:
Stanford/Ohio State
Boise State
There are simply too many one loss teams out there for ANY two loss team to get a BCS bid. Arkansas fans have more or less convinced themselves that the game against LSU is a game for the Sugar.
I just don't see it. I don't think Bama gets the bid, either, if they beat Auburn and LSU also loses.....again....too many one loss teams. The Sugar is in no way obligated to take an SEC team if the SEC champ in the BCSNCG.

Not true, Hogs beat LsWho and Auburn wins out, then we go to Sugar Bowl.
I just don't see it happening. Too many 1 loss teams.

The Sugar Bowl takes an SEC team and one at large, not two at large teams.

nice trend and the right direction I would say

Naw. Lafell had 1 & Dickson had 2 TDs for LSU in the NC game. Ricky Jean-Francois Defensive player of the game. Byrd won the Auburn game & Chad Jones stopped Bama.

The Sugar Bowl takes an SEC team
The Sugar Bowl is contractually obligated to take the SEC Champ. If the SEC Champ is not available, that is where the Sugar's obligation to the SEC ends.

The Sugar Bowl hosts the Southeastern Conference (SEC) champion unless (under the current BCS alignment) the team is selected to play in the national championship game; in that case the Sugar Bowl can select a team at-large from any conference as the host team. The SEC champion has participated in every standalone BCS National Championship Game since 2006; the Sugar Bowl has used its replacement selection on an SEC at-large team. As such, an SEC team has played in the Sugar Bowl every year since the 2000–01 game.
You guys are wrong. There is nothing in the rules that says the Sugar is obligated to take any SEC team other than the conference champion.
The fact that the SEC has, in the past, taken the SEC team does not mean they have to do that every year.

they have to take one SEC for Sugar since it's an auto-bid

Edit: If Alabama beats Auburn....and Auburn goes on to beat South Carolina...obviously the Sugar is contractually obligated to take Auburn.
I don't see how Bama gets in there, unless the Sugar puts precedent over selecting the best team for the game.

then the SEC will have one team playing for the Sugar, but if LSU wins out at (11-1) then we'll be top 4 and get the at-large bid

That is what I am saying. LSU is the only SEC team that is VIRTUALLY (key word here) guaranteed a Sugar berth if they win out.
I don't personally think a 2 loss SEC team gets the bid. South Carolina might get the auto-bid by upsetting Auburn, but I don't think either Arkansas or Bama will get it as a 2 loss team.
Like I said....you have Stanford, Ohio State and Michigan State all sitting there with one loss.

Alabama would take the sugar if they wins out against Auburn so Arkansas doesnt have a chance
bama has ZERO chance at the sugar. if auburn beats them, wel they're done. if auburn doesn't beat them, the winner of the SECCG goes to the sugar. bama to the sugar is impossible

If SOuth Carolina wins against Auburn but Auburn wins Alabama at 12-1 then they'll be ranked ahead of us even if we wins out at 11-1. South Carolina will go to the Sugar and Auburn will get an an at-large bid

Yeah...that is worst case scenario for us. Actually...worst case is losing to Arkansas....but whatever.
