You have WBB as checked. What exactly was checked? Just making the tournament? That's equivalent to the football team going to a bowl

So what exactly did Basketball both women and men do that Miles didn't do with football?

Miles needs two sub-6 win seasons in a row to be in trouble. Chances of that are slim. The sooner folks like you realize that he's here until HE'S ready to leave, the better off you'll be.

Im sure there are plenty of SEC coaches that have lasted 10 years and have done no worse than 8-5. Surely they are lining up in droves to get this gig that Miles has ran into the ground.

This thread is as good as any for my comment ... reading Dandy Don this morning, he discussed DeSean Smith. I can't help but wonder why in the world LSU hasn't been able to involve the tight end in the passing game to any meaningful extent over the past several seasons. It would seem throwing short and intermediate routes to the TE's would be great medicine for two inexperienced QBs.

I recall the late 90s and Nicky Savoie and LaFleur; I see other teams, like Alabama, making good use of their TE's, and it just doesn't add up. Also the lack of a really good screen game is baffling as well.

Maybe THIS is the year we will see more passes to the TEs and backs?

Disagree on Men's Basketball. Jones is just a bum who managed to sign some really good recruits this cycle.

Yay, we're in the top 64! Basketball sucks! It's just that expectations have become so low that making the top 64 is like making it to Omaha in baseball.

Top 64 of 347 division 1 teams is top 18% of the division we compete in. Basketball also finished 4th in the SEC after applying tiebreakers. It's not like making it to Omaha, but it's still better than football did (31/128 and 7th in SEC).

We hope evert year Miles will wake up and use the players he has . Well he never does do that because he is hard headed. he has about 8 or 9 tight ends on scholarship more than any team in the country. He don't recruit them to throw to all he wants is blockers so he can run the ball up the middle. Heck we can't even get a good qb to even give us a second look. What qb wants to throw the ball 6 times a game. Those year are gone and Miles will go down with that ship if he don't change. Abig time nfl coach once said to win at the major college or nfl level a coach must adapt his offence and defence to the personal he has not to what he wants to run. Miles hasn't learned that or just plain is not going to do it.
