A lot letters and words in this post, all for what?

Because I want to oooh and ahh at hard injury free hits at the game.
NOT, stand in silence saying “C’mon kid get up! C’mon kid?!” under my breath.
Clapping for a dead or paralyzed young man being hauled off the field because his coaches didn’t coach him is repugnant to me.

The hit on Burrow was as clean as it gets. The one on Jefferson was targeting and was treated as such.

Agreed, the hit on burrow was clean, timing almost perfect to get the sack.

Agreed, the call for the hit on Jefferson was accurate, and a textbook example of what the rule was designed to stop.

That being said...he did use the same form of diving crown first at Burrow. Had Burrow seen him and ducked, been hit at the shoulders or above, it would have been an undeniable spear.

I'm talking about the hit that happened. Not what could've happened.

Rules and coaching are designed to prevent what could have happened.

Clemson’s coaches did not coach prevention to this kid. The young man who was risking the worse injury was a Clemson Tiger that game.
