Preferred Bowl Game (if not in CFP)

Skimmed over the updated bowl projections and the consensus would be a New Years 6.
SB Nation: Peach Bowl (vs Texas)
CFB News: Fiesta (vs UCF)
CBS: Sugar (vs Oklahoma)
Sporting News: Citrus (vs Michigan)
Interested in the Rants consensus if we fall short of the playoff. My personal vote would be Fiesta Bowl simply because I’ve never been to Phoenix area and would be a cool change of scenery. Thoughts???

It needs to be against a good program, not UCF or some such.

With where the team sits now, I think a NY6 bowl should be a realistic expectation if you don’t make the CFP.
However, give me one where we do NOT play UCF. That is a lose-lose situation just like for Auburn last year. Win and everyone says you were supposed to. Lose and you are the laughing stock of P5 programs for losing to what is still a G5 school.
