Predictions for LSU vs. LaTech

This is the type of game LSU needs to come out with their guns blazing. LaTech is not Southeastern. Within the last decade, Tech has consistently made bowl game appearances with 90% of their in-state talent wishing they got their scholarships down south. LSU could very easily make the mistake of trying to look forward to the next SEC matchup, then end up tied at half with these Tech players showing their chip on their shoulders. I believe Tech is going to play up with LSU playing down. Final score 31-20 LSU (depth in 4th quarter play will give LSU the edge).

It's games like this that make Alabama's schedule look weak because Tech is much better than Citadel and Arkansas State.

Hard for LSU to play with the same intensity after Auburn...that is just a fact! These are the type of "sandwich" games that lead to an upset. So, that I am sure will be discussed and preached to the players this week.
With that being said, the defense will get the job done. Offense may be without a lot of fire to start off the game, but will do enough to pull away the 2nd half.
SO, I think it will be a sluggish and frustrating first half, but I hope I am wrong

I'm hoping we throw the ball ALOT. Passing game still needs work and this is basically the last game to work on it. I hope we build a big enough lead that Brennan can play the whole 4th quarter.

LSU's 2009 season (last time they played Tech) looks very similar to this season as well as the way it could turn out.

Looks like we found one of those bandwagon LSU fans that probably didnt even go to school there that thinks after slipping by a couple teams we are going to win the NC. It's called being realistic and I'm for sure not betting any money on LSU putting 40 pts in a blowout to an in-state school. It might happen, but LSU hasnt shown much for me to believe that after that Southeastern performance.
