I'm making my prediction based on what I saw this year from the offense, which will be very similar next year and what the defense is losing.

It's going to be very difficult to beat UF, A&M, Bama, UGA. Then you'll have a much better teams, like Ole Miss, AU, and Miss St.

Next year, even though Micky Goldmill doesn't want to admit it will be very difficult. I can easily see finishing 3rd or 4th in the West!

"Our intent was to address his contract following this year's bowl game," Alleva said. "But speculation about other job opportunities accelerated our process a little. I think we have accomplished the important step of securing Les Miles as our head coach for the long-term good of the program. Coach has shown that he's consistently in the hunt to win championships and educate our young men and make them good citizens. That's really what this is all about. I'm really excited about this. Coach has made a commitment to LSU, and LSU has made a commitment to coach. So that's where we are."

Miles, who turned 59 on Nov. 10, sounded like he wanted to be at LSU for much longer.

"I can tell you that I very much respect those Razorbacks, but I'm an LSU head coach and wil be an LSU head coach for as long as I can be," he said. "We've done some special things here, and it's nice that the administration, Joe Alleva, Chancellor (William) Jenkins recognize that and say, 'Coach, we want you to be here.' Seven years is a long tenure. I'm fortunate to have that commitment from a great institution and great school as LSU. I have to be real honest with you. What I want to do is win championships here ... and do it again, and then do it again."

We may lose a couple or even 3 games next year. Im not saying our schedule isn't insanely hard. Im just still shocked there are actually people out there who question Les Miles' character.

Definitely 4 losses. Bama and UF easily.(not blowouts, but just close losses)

UGA will be another loss if Murray returns. That's 3.

TCU and A&M will be hard to beat. Aub, Ole Miss and Arky were bad this yr and LSU squeaks by them all.

Those 3 should be at least a little better next yr. but LSU should win those anyway.

I say there are definitely 5 games in doubt w/ 3 possible upsets looming btn Aub, Ole Miss, Ark, and MSU.

If Miles keeps his trend of offense going then it will bite his arse against lesser opponents soon w/ the void that seems to be coming w/ the early departures on the defense.

-Rubbing it in Stoops nose when he beat him at Okie ST
-Leaving Oke St high and dry and as bad as any coach in history
-Shitting on players like Lee and Shep, among others
-Quitting in the biggest game in LSU's history.
-Using Ark interest to get more out of LSU, but he's really just being loyal

Yes, I question his character because he frequently demonstrates he is only out for his own interests.

You think he convinced Shep to stay for Shep or to do damage control w/ recruiting?

Haha damage control? WTF does Shep leaving early have to do with the incoming recruiting class? How many reports have come out that Shep just wasnt that good of a receiver? Miles plays the players who he believes gives the team the best chance to win and you are ignorant if you think otherwise.

Oh, did you hear what Brent Venables said about LSU's offense before the game the other night....he laughed and mocked LSU on national TV about how great/tricky the offense was.

And I guess that's the kind of guy you want here?

I'll take Miles over these dickheads all day, every day.

I'll go ahead and predict 4 to 5 loses.....

and Miles gets another extension!

Not sure why everyone thinks this prediction is absurd. We are losing a plethora of defensive players and our offense has yet to prove it is anywhere near capable of consistently winning us games.

You can't expect to get 10 wins every year.

Randall left an unhappy camper and Shep, one of LSU's best ever ambassadors was about to as well.

If Shep was just bad, then let him go. Miles didn't for some reason and it wasn't because he was a great player was it?

But your too busy slurping Miles dick to question the motivation behind such a move.

Oh, you can't refute the classless pos moves by Miles I posted either. Facts kinda make it hard for you, eh?

I find it funny that if a negatiger predicts a 9-3 or 8-4 or 7-5 record he is shitty fan.
When a sunshine pumper predicts a 13-1 or 14-0 and it doesn't happen the sunshine pumpers say negatigers are unrealistic and have high expectations or we can't win it every year excuse.

I can guarantee you that the same people that are predicting a 10-2 or 13-1 or 14-0 will be first ones that will bring up the "we lost too many players in 2012" excuse their prediction isn't correct.
