Pretty much the same as this year. 8-4 maybe.

This will continue until Miles is gone. We are nothing but your typical middle of the pack SEC team now.

The program has just transitioned from a Top 5 team to an "Arkansas Under Nutt" type program. Never really a national player but capable of making some noise.

UNC - Win
Vandy - Win
Miss St - Win
West Virginia - Loss
Tennessee - Win
Florida - Loss
McNeese State - Win
Auburn - Win
Alabama - Loss
UL-M - Win
Ole Miss - Win
Arkansas - Loss

I predict that we will be 8-4, but I could see us going 7-5 as well. UNC and West Virginia are good OOC teams. Florida will be in Gainesville. Of course, Miss St, Tennessee (better coach), Auburn, and Arkansas will be improved teams.

I still think that if LSU had no chance of playing for the National Championship in 2007, Miles is at Michigan right now. If Rich Rod fails again, I think Michigan comes hard after Les. He is consistently winning at least 8 games in the strongest conference in college football. They will need to restore their image and will want a "Michigan" man as their coach. I think Les could win 9-10 games a year in the Big 10. I have heard that Jim Harbaugh burned some bridges before so I don't think they will hire him. Les is a much better fit for the Big 10 than Rich Rod. I think they will do whatever they can to convince Les to come back to Michigan.

My prediction: 8-4 with another Chick-Fil-A Bowl appearance and Les Miles heads to Michigan after the bowl game

probably 9-3 or 8-4, i can't decide. on the other hand, if the problems with the offensive line get fixed 10-2 and mabe a shot to win the west.

this.

But if we don't win the West with this record, then Miles needs to go. And if one of those losses are to MS State or Ole Miss, then he definitely needs to go. LSU is too talented to lose to either of these teams next year. I know alot of people get carried away sometimes in regards to LSU's recruiting vs other SEC schools, but LSU has loads more talent than State or OM and should not lose to either this year. No excuses.

That said, I hope we go undeafeated and win it all!!

I really can't say for sure what the record will be until I see the Tigers performance in the UNC game. But I just have a feeling it'll be 10-2.

We WILL be a competitive team next season. I want Saban scared.

UNC - Win (close first half, we pull away after halftime)
Vandy - Win (huge)
Miss St - Win (it's at home)
West Virginia - toss up (probable loss)
Tennessee - toss up (probable win)
Florida - loss
McNeese State - Win
Auburn - Win (QB issues)
Alabama -Win (Miles knows has to beat Bama next year or he's gone)
ULM - Win
Ole Miss - Win (no way they make it 3 in a row)
Arkansas - toss up (probable loss)

prediction: 9-3 regular season, 2nd in the West, Cotton Bowl loss to Oklahoma

with that said, here's hoping for a 14-0 season and another MNC!!

5-7 or 6-6.....quarterbacks need intellignece along with toughness.....our quarterback play has no intelligence for the gameplans they get.......if we had flynn, mauck or rohan.....i could see 8-4

your 6-6 prediction is based on your feelings and negative outlook, not the facts. I'd say that 10-2 is just as likely as 6-6.

We dont even know yet what players will sign for 2010 and we have not seen the Spring practices and Spring game.

Give the negativity a rest. Its baseless until we see what the team looks like.

After all, OC Crowton and Miles DID manage to win a NC.
Its not like its impossible to conceive. Let's see those 21 redshirt freshmen we have been stockpiling.

Hard won victories taste best.
These things happen. Be of good cheer, for a week, anyway, until we we see who signs.

Thanks Tim. 14-0 is just as possible, in January, as 6-6.

However, I would rather play a team other than tOSU in the NC game, ok?

How about Boise? They will be undefeated again. They wont play a team in the BCS conferences with a winning record. Just two duds.
