and dont give me that we dont have a qb shite. You should realize this more than anybody. JJ got you to the national championship game last year. You dont really need a qb, when you have a great defense and a great running game. Which we do.

I grew up in wichita falls, TX. I like Texas and all, but realistically, they arent going to get by oklahoma, WV, Kansas State, and possibly OK state. I can see them stumble on the way there as well.. I see them being better in '13. This will still be a progressing year. Teams will learn to load the box when they find out that texas will have to rely on the run.. the defense will be out on the field too long, and in conclusion will end up in a few losses. sorry :(

i dont remember LSU airing it out. They ran the ball down people's throats with a stable of backs, and when they stacked the box, play-action.

and getting beat by okie state?? i dont see weeden and blackmon walking through that door anytime soon. So no. And WV??? no..now i will agree on k-state, and oklahoma.

perhaps you didnt watch the WV-clemson game.. they put up 70 vs. a good clemson team.. texas doesnt have that offensive fire power like they did with colt and jordan.. they have case and jordie, but its not the same. now defensively, this isn't LSU or alabama were talking about.. they are decent at BEST.

The top 10 defense will be a wiser choice to go with, but 8-4 is actually reachable as well considering its a down year for the big 12 except for OK, but I'm not a betting man. You never know though.. Texas may surprise folks. I wish them luck for this year. I can seethem going to the cotton bowl at best
