Not sure why people can't see it's the exact same thing as last year. Keep being negative all you like.. I recognize it's a Louisiana thing.. but around the league the other teams won't compete with these defenses. It's proven time and time again..
I'll take 38-22 on a wet field against anyone prior to playing in a top 10 matchup on the road.
I am going to have to work extra this week just to get the time to fly by. It's going to be hilarious the 180 people will have after LSU beats Florida.

I don't think Mett has been as bad as some have said...(not excusing the t.o.).
I keep reading this from some of you. Mett throws a pretty deep ball, but honestly, that is all he has. He can't scramble, and when he tries he is clumsy and turnover prone. He is quickly turning into a turnover machine for LSU. He can't read the defense quick enough to make a quick pass and make team's pay that stack the box...that is obvious...he is not that good on shorter routes, and has absolutely no pocket presence. Frankly, his intangibles are very, very lacking...but hey, he can throw the ball down the field if everything lines up right on the play. I think most of you that refuse to see his shortcomings are just so pro-mett that your refuse to be objective about his performance. He probably needs to stay out of the bars a little more, and worry about playing football instead of being joe cool. JMO...I know I'll get a lot of bs replys from those statements. I think LSU can still have a nice season, but they have lost too much to win a championship, in my opinion. I was blasted on here earlier in the year for saying the Faulk loss was HUGE...according to all the kids on here, we were just so deep there it didn't matter. This one loss in faulk was probably the one loss that this team could not afford.....even including mett.

It pains me to say (think) so, but 3 out of the next 4. Maybe all 4. After that maybe another one. So 4 or 5.~~~ Best case 3

Let me ask you. Do you think Bama's going to lose 2-3 games? Go look at the previous page of stats, think about the comparisons with that thing in your head that tells your junk to rise when you see a naked woman called a brain, and then tell me why LSU has so much more of a chance to drop 3-5 and Bama doesn't.

Three maybe four with a berth in the Chicken or Cotton Bowls. LSU is not a good football team, and I'm sorry if this offends you sunshine pumpers.

Stats are fine. Fun/interesting to look at. Thanks for posting them, but stats don't show up on Saturday night, and they don't put points on the board. What does show up is lackadaisical players, and hard-headed coaches. You and I are on the same Team...I hope I'm wrong, and that you are right.

Bama plays with intensity and discipline. LSU doesn't. Bama dominates, LSU squeaks by a bad Auburn and an FCS Towson.

*Not responding at you directly.. You are just the last post.
I recognize LSU has it's injuries and issues.. but they continue to pack that defense with them wherever the game is played.. They aren't going to lose more than 2 games. Period. It's just not happening.
It's also not sunshine pumping to look objectively.. which means not only look at your team.. but look at the others. Those teams have weaknesses themselves.. and they don't have the luxury of packing this defense with them.
I refuse to believe a Mississippi St or a South Carolina is going to come into Tiger Stadium and win.

Zac does NOT have the ability to think about REALITY like this.

3 if we avg 3 fumble and 10 penalties per game

3. The O-line is putrid.
UF, SC, and Bama. If we are not careful, you could throw A&M in there.
Now I would be more than happy to post in a "I'm a Jerk" thread if we win the NC

Say what you want, but there was absolutely no excuse for what happened last night.

So, outside of penalties and turnovers, tell me in which aspect of the game Bama is dominating in?
Those two aspects of the game are HUGE. It comes down to discipline, that is what separates good teams from great teams. It is hard to believe that we could have so many stupid penalties and turnovers and be able to compete for the NC.
Yes only two aspects, but they are big ones! Ones that can and will change the outcome of football games. Eliminate the penalties and turnovers and LSU would have rolled over Auburn and Towson and nobody would be concerned. We would also have a solid no 2 ranking..
Just saying.

We have Oline issues for sure. Fix those we don't lose. Don't fix them then I see one of two losses. I think we beat Bama. Ms. State scares me the next week. They are playing great and they are long overdue for a victory against us.
