8-4 then Notre Dame beats us in a meaningless bowl game.

lack of a running game.

What makes you think this?

Helaire, Provens and Curry will perform well. Especially Helaire. Also, you do realize we return an experienced offensive line, correct?

If we had a competent quarterback we are in National Title discussion. Oh, I bet that was echoed to Burrow last weekend. Don't think that isn't pretty Damm enticing.

He will be a Tiger.

The early schedule should be fun, with none of the teams having much game film on him or the offensive scheme. This should bode well for tough matchups with Miami and Auburn, and hopefully all the way through Florida. I think it gets a little dicey after that, with or without him. If he can improvise some, we'll have a much better chance in the 2nd half of the schedule than we would without him. If we're undefeated for Georgia at home, I think we win that one, too. That leaves MSU, Bama, Rice, Arkansas, and A&M. We win, at worst, 3 of those but the sky is the limit if Burrow is the real deal and our offense steps up overall.

If if was a skiff, we could all go take a ride.

8-4, because I think a competent QB should raise expectations.

7-5 means O shouldn't make it to 2019.

The big story this season will be the Defense. I think the average points scored against the Defense per game will be less than 15.

It is a done deal.

Ban me if it isn't so.

About 4 better than my current forecast with the bunch we got.

7-5 without JB
11-1 with JB and a shot at SEC Championship.

Not a knock on our current QB camp... definitely a knock on our current QB development program.

Unbeaten is a great leap of the imagination, given we haven't seen this QB play a single down at LSU. Nor do we even know if he is coming to LSU or not. Nor do we know, if he does, whether he will be our instant starter and savior behind center. So... Let's chalk your enthusiasm up to wishful thinking, huh? And let things play out a week at a time.
