UDFA. Never seen a bigger regression at QB during a player’s college years in my life
You don't watch much football?
How does Burrrow look when he was injured.
How has Daniels played while he is injured.
Oh! Thats right they didn't play while injured.
How did Nuss play, when Daniels was injured vs Georgia, in the SEC Championship game.
How did Nuss perform, in his first year as a starter, compared to Burrow or Daniels first season as a starter? Heck Nuss didn't have Nabers, Thomas, Jefferson, or Chase catching his passes and he still exceeded their stats.
Remember, Daniels has been a starter for three years, prior to his enroolment at LSU>

Daddy Nuss will get in Loomis' ear, Saints will take him in the 6th.

It appears the Saints have their starter for several years to come.
Why would "Daddy" who has a talented Son, want him sitting behind some other QB at approximately the same age.

Because NFL backup QB is quite possibly the best job in the whole world. Ask Matt Flynn how it worked out for him. I'm not saying this is the case here and I have zero inside info but it's quite possible that Doug might want to be closer to his son and work with him daily. Also it's good to have your parents close so Garrett might not be opposed to a backup role in this scenario.

To ensure he's employed in the league.
I'll eat my words if I'm wrong, but Nuss is never going to take a snap in the NFL his first year no matter where he goes. Might as well try to guarantee him a paycheck on the practice squad.

I just hope it's not the Falcons in any round!

Someone will take him Day 3.

Im not happy at all with how he played this year but I'll leave my personal opinions out of it.
We can find many 3rd and 4th round QBs that had much better college careers than Nuss. Look at Miss St Dak Prescott (ignore NFL), Kurt Cousins (Mich St), Russell Wilson (Wisconsin). All were better prospects than Nuss and were 3rd, 4th round or later. No way this kid goes before the 4th unless some idiot GM reaches only for both of them to get fired/waived in 3 years

He is only 6-1 and 205? I thought he was taller than that. I think he can be a decent QB in the NFL. Has the arm, just needs a good OL.

You make a good point. However, it appears Nuss and Pop have worked his entire life to prepare him for an NFL career, if he has the talent, and health.
We shall see.

Flynn actually had some talent, being a nepo baby is what will put a clipboard(tablet,) in Nuss' hands to put on his resume that he was an NFL qb so that he can segue into the long nepo line that is the coaching profession

6th round at best. Strong arm, inaccurate, bad decision maker, poor footwork. With the right coach, he can succeed. But it’s got to be a perfect situation.

I think you are correct with the UDFA pick . Teams want to see physical and mental toughness and leadership . He seemed to have a meltdown after the first few games this year . Teams are not going to extend millions for that . They will look at his tape and ask him pointed questions , or they may not bother with him at all .

Remember his last game when the RB asked him where he was supposed to line up ? He told him the wrong place ! Also has a hard time stepping up in the pocket .
