Can't trust them this time after the lizard lounge Oregon game fiasco. Biggest waste of money for that block party with 2 bar tenders and thousands of people. Ran out of beer also

I'm with you. The lizard lounge sucked donkey balls. I also can't stand the new Bag o Donuts. What's the chance that the Saints will be playing on that Sunday?

Bigt ime waste of money in dallas. Haven't come across many people who say otherwise. Looks like the same people doing this one.

2008 Party @ Ampersand was a blast! Normally not my type of crowd that they attract on the reg but it was good mix of LSU fans from old to young.

It will be worth it if I see 15 bartenders and about 10,000 bottles of bud light. If not. Bourbon St will be my continous block party with big arse beers and hand grenades for super cheap just like in 07

Are you sure about that? Maybe they will change the schedule due to BCS.

Here is my original apology posted about the Tiger Block Party in Dallas. Nobody contacted me, but the offer still stands.

LINK
I was in charge of producing the show at Lizard Lounge. Unfortunately, I wasn't in charge of running the bars. I gave them plenty of warnings that this would be the biggest drinking crowd they had ever seen, and that the venue had actually run out of beer at our Seattle Kick Off Party. Even though the night started off slow, I could tell by about 8:30 that things could go South and I was begging the venue to bring in extra help. I was already planning on donating money to the LSU band from this show, and I'm hoping the venue will match my donation because of the poor job of planning they did. In the end, since I produced the show the blame falls on me. I apologize for the frustratingly long waits at the bar and the inconvenience that it caused everyone there. If anyone would like to contact me, they can email me at donnie@insomniac.com.

LSU related shows I have produced:
LSU vs. Oklahoma 2003 BCS Viewing Party @ State Palace Theater
LSU vs. Tulane Party 2006 @ House of Blues
LSU vs. Notre Dame 2006 Sugar Bowl Party @ House of Blues
LSU vs. Ohio State 2007 BCS Party @ House of Blues
LSU vs. Ohio State 2007 BCS Viewing Party @ Ampersand
LSU vs. Washington 2009 @ Showbox Sodo
LSU vs. North Carolina 2010 @ Tabernacle
LSU vs. Oregon 2011 @ Lizard Lounge

I apologize again and promise we will have tons of bartenders at this show!!!!!

Bartending problems aside lizard lounge was a good time. My only gripe was Bag o Donuts was very weak. Travis was killing it then BOD cleared the place out. Maybe switch up the order, I'll come see Travis then.............Good luck

Disco,
Thanks for the explanation on the lizard lounge debacle. I have one question I must ask. Why do you continue to book the Bag of Donuts? No offense but the new lead singer just isn't that good. I first heard the donuts in 96 and they were fun to watch and listen to. Good Luck with this years event.
