PP will have mediocre stats because few will even attempt to test him. He will quietly shut down one half of the field and the rest of the country will know nothing about it.

yeah i remember that. That's not the point of this discussion dumbass. Did he do that against PP, no! I don't think PP will when the Heisman by any means, but to not even list him is kinda dumb

Dude, Julio didn't even break 600 yards receiving last year.

If it wasn't for that 425-yard TD he had against LSU on a screen when PP went out, he wouldn't have broken 200 yards.

You know who I think is a good candidate for the Heisman off of Bama's team. That guy. The one that ran the ball last year. You know, the one that won the freaking Heisman. Oh, and his backup too (before Jones anyway). But Jones is awesome. He had an off year though. No Heisman though when they have those RBs.

Julio was pretty damn good as a freshman. He was never the same after those surgeries for the sports hernia. I would doubt he would ever be in contention for a Heisman, though. He's just not what he was, unless he's improved alot since last year. PP continues to get better. While Julio seemed to peak early. I still think PP would have to have 3-4 returns for TD, and one that matters late in the season to get into the discussion, at his position.

We do. But FTR, Peterson was not covering Julio on that play.

can't decide what's more laughable...

people thinking PP has a legit shot of being a Heisman or that Julio Jones is even listed.

I think PP is a more legit candidate than Julio.
Only because PP will be returning punts and kickoffs this year.
Neither is that serious of a candidate, however.
