In your opinion, would being suspended during the season necessarily keep a player from receiving conference or national awards. In plain language, does TM not even earn All SEC honors now?

On the field is on the field and off the field is off the field.

The only post season award I am hoping for is the crystal trophy.

When off-the-field prevents a player from being on-the-field, off-the-field really is on-the-field too.

I think being suspended will cost all of these players at least in part with respect to post-season honors.

TM was almost a lock to be a 1st team AA. I doubt that will happen now...probably 2nd team at best.

Ware would have likely been 2nd team all conference...I think unlikely now.

Just one guy's opinion.

I agree with jacks, what does on the field performance have to do with anything off the field?

Pete Rose would agree with you.

Maybe it'll calm TM down some. The trash talking is getting old. You need a certain amount of swagger and cockiness but he's getting out of control. His on field antics are going to get him kicked out of a game or at least get us a penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct, probably at a very inopportune time. 4th qtr against BAMA in a tie game after they've thrown an incompletion on third and 10 at our 35 would be "par for the course."

in the sense that it prevents them from playing yes, and if not playing caused you to view someone else a more worthy of the honor that's fine IMO.

Otherwise, I dont care how many kids he has, what his religion, if he is Lawerence Taylor or amish off the field
