Post Game Shows

Why can’t we gave a decent one?

1. The official post game show immediately following the game is ok. We get the coach’s post game remarks, and a player interview or two; pbp highlights; stats, minor analysis. Can’t get much criticism because the hosts work for LSU.

2.) Whiskey & Wine (Whine?): This is the current iteration of Matt Moscona’s show. Drunk Matt and Drunk T-Bob yelling at each other and using as much foul language as they can fit. I don’t mind the curse words, but goddammit these cocksucking motherfrickers don’t fricking know when the shite to cool it the frick off. Also, after so many years of doing this, they still don’t know how to put a show on without technical glitches that make it unwatchable.

3.) Hanny: The Eagle 98.1 postgame show is the gold standard, and has been for years. It has not been nearly as good since Alan Risher left, IMHO. Also, starting 90 minutes after the game, it’s difficult to stay up late enough to listen live. So I like to listen to the “podcast” version of it the next day. Problem is, you never know if it will be posted in the morning or on Tuesday. It’s difficult to find in YouTube and the 98.1 app. More often than not, the first few minutes is missing. For example, the version I found for this game starts with Charles already taking phone calls. How hard is it to record the show and post it on the internet?

4.) Scone’s morning live video is usually the most reliably decent commentary/recap.

I have no nor do I offer any solutions to this. Just ranting.
