I know two people who had season tickets for years and sold them. They told me they're not attending another game until Miles is fired.

Tell them I said "THANK YOU". It'll probably make Death Valley a little healthier in the long run.

Maybe some of the fans who were there to be seen will be gone now. All the LSU fans I know who have tickets will be there fwiw.

The Rant is usually as pessimistic as they come, and in light of whats been said the past 3 pages, I think it's safe to conclude that your family/friends are incorrect.

they tell me as many as 50% of the ticket holders they know are not planning on attending the first game of the 2010 season in Tiger Stadium.

I am in Central Louisiana and no one has extra tickets. We will be there and

"BRING THE PARISH"

Try to find a ticket. There will be very few for sale. This is the opener. Never been to one that did not have capacity. I have been going since the sixties

Young whippersnappers, get off your rear, off your PC, and Playstation. This is the LSU home opener.

I'm driving in from Fort Worth, which I normally wouldn't do for a home opener.

frick you neither my friends nor my family are stupid and they are all going, it is their aquantances that are reportedly not going.

Perphaps (and I say this with all due respect) the "acquantances" of your family and friends are just not that dedicated of fans.

Though to be honest, it has pretty much always been easy to buy tickets around the stadium for pretty cheap from "fans" that chose not to use them for one reason or another. There have been dozens of threads on here about it over the years. I've attended numerous games that way.

You guys/gals have certainly made me feel much better. I did not want to believe that the negativity which is running rampart in all of the current propaganda about LSU was so far spread but I admit I faltered.

looks like you realized how much crap you would get on here when there's another earthquake saturday.

I saw Tiger Stadium full in the 70s when we were not very good. I can't imagine someone that has tickets not showing up.
