Honestly I used to seriously dislike Miles, but I started thinking otherwise last season. I think he truly is a good coach, he just sometimes has brain-farts like anyone else. As far as the QB situation goes. I was willing to support whichever QB won the job. I was banking on JJs maturation...and now I'm banking on JLs maturation. We got this guys!

I'm not the one laying down ultimatums. (ultimata?)
I like to judge some one on a full body of work rather than singling out one episode or two as my "AHA" moment. I also know how to let go. What's done is over. Let it go. Can't be changed.

LOL ugh yeah I'd say he's pretty "decent"
5 big name coaches
-Mack Brown (5-7) last season (2-6) in an OK Big 12
-Bob Stoops can't win the big game and is a cry baby
-Jim Tressel...lol ummm you fill in the blank
-Nick Saban lies and goes where the money is.
-Pete Carroll biggest cheater there is and bails when s**t hits the fan.

I think we, as LSU fans, are lucky to have such a great coach. IMO

Which seems strange, since you based your "JJ is improved" over the last 3-4 games of last year.
Based on coaches assessment, plus above.
I don't forget that JJ was the "clear" starter from the mouths of those who saw all the QBs in person for all of every practice, scrimmage and film room session.
So it wasn't so much my basis as it was the people in the know.
Which brings us back to OP.
Do you follow the coaching staff or your own uninformed judgement?

I really like Miles, but thought JL should've been starting instead of JJ.

Miles and I disagree when it comes to risk/reward in JL.

Thats great but Id rather a loyal top 5 coach rather than a #1 coach thats a flea and jumps from dog to dog finding the sweetest blood.

The only time I questioned the starting position was mid season last year. I felt JL should have gotten a look after UF. Outside of that, I didn't really have a problem with JJ starting, though I felt Lee should have played more mid season. It worked out i the end.

Miles supporter. JL fan over JJ. I do not dislike JJ(I actually feel bad for the guy), I just think JL is a better downfield threat for LSU. That said, we will probably never know what effect Krag/Stud had on JJ in re: to his progression as a QB

Totally for Les Miles. Was never a big JJ fan. Though I did support him because he wore the P&G.

So there.

Like Miles, think he is an idiot who has to surround himself with the best to be successful though.

Always hated Jefferson and prayed all year something would happen so he wouldn't start. He is a horrible QB who has had 2-3 good games tops. He doesn't give us the best option to win. As an LSU fan, not an individual player fan, I want the best on the field. Now we have it.

Support Miles. Therefore, supported his decision to start JJ (after all, he's the coach not me, so if I support him then I should trust his judgement... he's the one who gets to see them practice all the time.) Thus, support JJ until noted otherwise.

That said, with our style of offense JL is just fine since we can pound it out and control the game anyways. Nice to be so stacked with 3 legit QBs (not Andrew Luck but not Garret Gilbert, either.)

I have been one of the most vocal pro-Miles posters on here since 2007, but I was extremely disappointed in the way he handled the QB situation in 2008-2011 with JL & JJ.

There was a small window of time around October 2009 where I resigned myself to being okay with Jefferson starting, but for the most part, (A) I was against him starting against GT in 2008, (B) I was against him starting in 2009, (C) I was against him starting in 2010, and (D) I was against him starting in 2011.

there are those on here that hope JJ remains suspended indefinitely because they want Lee to start

there are others that hope all this is dropped because he is an LSU player and couldn't care less whether he starts or not.

its pretty easy to pick out who's who
