Don't see how it's possible now. It's time for him to go, I just hope Alleva has a replacement in his back pocket.

ahhh finally a new and fresh topic

If Miles isn't getting fired, then Alleva should have called a press conference saying it loud and clear that he wasn't fired. You don't let news like this about your head coach hang out there and grow if it isn't true.

most signs are pointing to his departure. At-least that is what the guys with inside sources seem to think, but they could be wrong they have been before.

How can anyone say he isn't gone?

I don't think the arse-hats at LSU will convince the grownups to spend $15M just for the privilege of hiring a coach from Houston with 1 year of experience.

If Miles stays after this, its going to hurt the program. He will be considered a "lame duck" and recruits will be lost because no one will want to sign with coach in limbo. Already lost Franks, Moses is likely all BAMA now...we could lose more over the next year if Les Stays. Many have reported he wants to retire from here after 2016...even if it's not true, it's out there and will really make things difficult on the program next year. They almost need to pull the trigger now.

Langland makes sense. If not true then alleva should have said something

I've been saying 50-50 all along.

To much damage has been done. I think he will step down next week. Cameron's contract is up and I just don't see any OC coming here on a 1 year experiment knowing miles is on the way out. Timing is everything and maybe LSU admins are trying to keep the team focused for A&M by waiting til after the game to let him go...or hopefully Jimbo's reps asked to keep things routine til after the UF/Florida game so the distractions would not increase in Tallahassee.

50/50 imo..
The backlash, while not as vocal, has been a little heavier than they expected.. The move is afoot to give him another year..

Alleva's silence is deafening and speaks volumes about what's happening.

He should stay one more year, BUT they should bring in a HC to replace him now and a OC to call plays... He's not needed but to show appreciation give him one last shot
