It's always been up to the students to make noise, this will not change. The students at times seem to be happy to just sit down and not make noise either. Imo the crowd got loud when the team gave them a reason. That said, it's up to the students...many who seem are busy on phones... sign of the times I guess...

Jesus, this shite AGAIN! A midweek game with a crowd getting there late and the team playing like warmed over shite. The crowd did what it could when it could. Since I've been to most home games this year, I'm not sure what this looks like on TV, but the crowd noise has certainly improved with the quality of play. Maybe those folks sitting right behind the benches and similar spot across court are sitting on their hands and are more visible to cameras, but I sit opposite court from student section and folks around me get very vocal and stand when appropriate (except for old prick behind me) including last night.
Regarding the geriatrics holding the season tickets, I bought someone else's seats for the season since I've been out of state for years and didn't have the TAF standing to purchase otherwise. Point being, put up or shut up on the tickets and quit bitching about everyone that doesn't support the team the same way you do.
