I will say it ties it in my view, hard for me to conclude which is better when both are lit and the teams are good

At one time, it was absolutely True. A lot of people just seem to have forgotten this.

If you attended games from 78-92, you would absolutely argue that that Arena at its best is every bit as electric as Tiger Stadium.

From 78-92, were the listmakers and rankers putting the PMAC up against Tiger Stadium, Augusta National, Fenway Park, and Lambeau as a bucket-list visit for sports fans?

See if you can pick out which venue doesn't belong

Cameron Indoor
Dean Dome
Rupp
Bud Walton
Assembly Hall
Pauley Pavilion
Allen Fieldhouse
PMAC

I'm glad you enjoyed your time 40 years ago, and I'd love to see the PMAC (or whatever new venue ends up getting built) reach that pinnacle. But pretending we're already there just does a disservice to everyone.

I'm pretty sure I've told you, as well as many other people this: I had more fun as a student during the 05-06 final four run than any football season.

Yeah you don't get any pushing and shoving in a football game

I was at every game during the Dale Brown era. It got crazy loud in the deaf dome many times, but Tiger Stadium has no equal.

The PMAC sucks. Even at its absolute peak it’s not even remotely close to a premier college hoops venue.

So that being said you really can’t even compare it to Tiger stadium either as it’s a completely different sport.

Hell tiger stadium is the best sporting venue in general. It’s not fair to compare anything to it.

Tiger Stadium wasn’t that either before the recent past in terms of “bucket lists”. Nobody put college football or basketball games on “bucket lists.
These are the types of “bucket Lists”:
The Final Four
Rose Bowl
Sugar Bowl
Cotton Bowl
Orange Bowl

I mean I don’t understand how some of you don’t know anything about history.

Your games being televised on National TV was a BIG deal. And LSU had a bunch of games televised during that time.

I stand by what I said, it was flat out electric even on a Tuesday night in December 1983 when UH Phi Slamma Jamma came for a game. It was a Top 10 match-up. LSU lost by 9
