Take it a step further—how shitty of a lawyer do you have to be to instruct your client to admit to molesting his niece.

Weren't you in an uproar over this kid playing in the CWS? I seem to remember that.

The kind that knows that after 5 years of basically nothing changing in your life except going to therapy for 9 months, you can get past the false allegation with no issues and no one knowing. You still go to school. Follow your dreams. Succeed.

Unless the state makes a clerical error and a SJW writes a half-factual column about you based on documents that never should have been released.

You have it right/and wrong at the same time

When I first heard the story I was outraged like everyone, and then I read the details and I was the first one on this site to bring up I thought he may be innocent and I WAS frickING RAILROADED I was 100% for him playing in the CWS in 2018 though so you have that wrong

Here is my thread from 2018

Yea, you called him innocent ... Mighty strong wording.

Nobody plays both sides to claim being right better than you

Well I do think he is innocent.

If you held a gun to my head and made me pick I would say he is innocent. Still admit there is a change he is guilty as well though

It's just funny you go all in on bash the guy to all in on his innocence. Then you get to claim victory either way since you can post screen grabs of you saying either thing,

Even if the kid was innocent back then and Casey knew it. The optics are still way too ugly. And there's no definitive way to tell what the actual truth is. It's the last thing LSU needs to deal with. It sucks but we live in a world where the optics are more important than the truth.

Imagine what it will be like on the road at MSU, Ole Miss and Rkansas when they're all chanting pedo the whole game. What's recruits parents gonna think about this.

Maybe....MAYBE if Casey was in his 40's you think about it and weather the storm for the first couple years till everyone forgets about it. But he's 62! It's just not worth it.

94% of state criminal cases end in plea bargains. And as this board has demonstrated, this was a highly emotional case where people form opinions on feelings instead of facts.

At 15 years old, would you take a chance on going to trial, and potentially losing your future? Or do you take a deal to avoid jail time so you and your family can try to move on?

Again, if you’re a lawyer, you must be a broke one bc I can’t imagine anyone hiring you!

“which would have been a few months in a juvenile detention center.”

40 months. In case your math is as bad as your lawyering skills, that’s 3 years and 4 months. So it’s not just “a few months” as you state. Also, and it’s been said numerous times on here already, that the family did not want the granddaughter to have to testify, which could cause severe trauma to a six year old. At this point, I know you’ve read this stuff. You just want to act like it doesn’t exist. If you are a lawyer (which I know you’re not lol), you’re a terrible one at best.

““It’s not a simple matter of “The only evidence was the victims mothers word”.””

Actually, yes, that is the only evidence. If there is more, please tell us what it is.

And if it comes out somehow he was totally guilty, you will point back to your original thoughts and say "see, I was right"

So you are making the argument men should dig their heels in, never read up more on situations, and never ever change their opinion

I mean I thought you just did that on the internet for fun I didnt think you actually were about that

It seems like he changed his mind after being presented with facts, which seems reasonable to me.

I can only assume the same happened with you and the Chauvin case...or did you think he was innocent the entire time?

No, I'm saying you like to post screen grabs of posts from years ago and show how rights you are a lot. And I'm saying sometimes your opinions on things aren't exactly consistent. And other times you say people said stuff years ago and never back that up.
