ULL would be favored, probably by 3.5 on a neutral field, and I would’ve picked them to win straight up two weeks ago. However, LSU’s shown some serious progress lately, so I’d have it as a toss-up:

It is confusing, I agree. Their SID & athletic dept. has do doubt gone through a million + pieces of paper in promoting whatever its name is at one given time. Their phone bill to ESPN, begging, has to be in the thousands of dollars as well. Picking them to win, this year or next.......Good Lord.

On a neutral field, I would say the spread would be LSU -10 to 14.

It honestly depends on what time of the season we are talking. Are the Cajuns playing the LSU of the past two games or the LSU that showed up against Mississippi State and Mizzou? If it is LSU that started the season, it would be within 2 touchdowns.

LSU beat a top 10 Florida team two weeks ago. If that’s not progress, then I don’t know what is.

Saying LSU has shown progress may be the only part of what you said that wasn't way off.

And yes. LSU beat a top 10 UF team two weeks ago and yet you are sitting here saying frickin ULL would be the favorite.

LSU would be a 21 point favorite at a neutral site.

24-25 point favorite in Tiger Stadium.

That's just ridiculous.

Man these two pull it out your arse victories we just witnessed have gotten to your collective heads.

ULL would have scored at least 27 points. That's the starting point.

I more than appreciate the effort we gave in that game, but it was readily apparent who the better team was. If we played that game 10 times, we win twice. Thank God Mullen took us lightly and sat his best offensive player.

Ole Miss sucks.

UL beat a top 10 Iowa St team by double digits in week one. They took Coastal to the wire. They’re a really good one loss team that has been consistently great on defense and running the ball. They’re not a good matchup for LSU.

Baw, in 22 games, UL-L only scored a combined 25 points against LSU, all while giving up 988 points. In the words of Joe Biden “Come on man!”

Well ill stay objective. Lsu defense would literally be the weakest defense they faced all year and ull dropped 70 on somebody this year. Napier is a better coach than O imo...I support O but just calling it like I see it. On the other hand the ull defense is about as good as auburn defense prolly better. Many this year would likely get their feelings hurt. Ull has everything to gain. I believe USL punches lsu right in the eye from get and would likely drop 35 plus. I think ull would beat the tigers this year after watching both teams several times, I'm not sure lsu could beat Iowa state this year, app state or even for sure c. Carolina..Napier is a Saban disciple...so. yeah.

ULL beat a top 10 team this season too.

You’re insane if you think Vegas would favor a .500 team over a ranked team. I’ve never seen it before.

LSU -10. Sorry, but LSU isn’t good this season and ULL has had a historic year.

ULL trounced the 2nd place team in the Big 12, but you think a .500 LSU team would beat them by 30? No way.

USL "trounced" Iowa State by returning 2 kicks for TD's & had a 80+ yd TD pass. Other than those 3 TD's, their offense did not do squat. Yes, all 3 count but it's not like their offense ran up & down the field all game long. Total yards was in the 270 range, so take away the one play 80 yd bomb & that leaves total offense in the 190 yard range. And comparing USL's defense, against Sun Belt teams, to AU's against SEC teams???
