Maryland is very young but has size and is athletic. Belmont is like Furman or Greensboro. We can lock them down and they have no answer for us on offensive boards.

I’m not impressed with either team, especially Temple. While second half has been super sloppy for both teams. Not sure if we’d murder both or devolve into whatever this is and look awful too.

I find it funny that everybody is saying Belmonts going to win,over Maryland ... It's literally like a cold that spreads through the site...
Nobody knows A damn thing about Belmont.. And Prolly very little about Maryland.
It's just a trendy pick so people are going with it... Not unlike the trendy pick of Yale over LSU..
For those who don't watch a ton of cbk, I do.. I'm very familiar with both teams, I just recently watched both teams in a few different games each. I have no life.
Trust me, you want to play Belmont. There's a reason they are in a play in game.. There not as good as Maryland.i think people try to be too cute.

I was thinking the same.
Maryland isnt bad. Big Ten is always tough year out and i could see Michigan St winning the whole thing.
LSU needs their coach, period.
We can handle either Belmont or Maryland if prepared accordingly.
Our administration is truly fricking the team and fans over and it is as onscene and as big of an F-U as ive seen following LSU sports.

Maryland should be a 4-6 point favorite vs Belmont. I’d be shocked if Maryland lost that game. Still, I couldn’t think of a better first 2 games than Yale and Belmont?
I couldn’t dream of a better bracket while Michigan St has to go through Louisville or possibly Minnesota?

I think it is trendy because one of these Dayton teams has gone on to win at least one more game in the tournament every year since the format started in 2011. Some made deep runs. I think it is good that people are starting to pay closer attention to these often dangerous last 4 at-large teams.
But I'm with you, I'd still prefer to play Belmont over Maryland.

2 Years Pitino been gone?
I think Louisville has the fire power to play with Michigan St.. They played a good schedule and have some nice scalps.
