No. Read the tread title. The OP is comparing play calling with Lee in the game versus JJ. I replied, no the execution (of the plays) is better with Lee in the game. Where does dredging up old LSU QBs fit in with a JL versus JJ comparison?

As in 2000 the execution was better with Davey verses Booty. It wasn't just the QB making proper throws but the recievers ability to catch that made an overall difference.

Be prepared. Some LSU official is going to black bag you in the coming days for talking bad about the option. Les loves the option and you better too!!!

Don't see wasted plays like the option to the short side of the field.

thats because the gigantic playbook isnt dumbed down to our others QB's intelligence level...

we have a ton more options...and we leave out the option...pardon the pun...

Lee starting the whole game....RS running the wildtiger with lee split out wide...makes 10 on 10...and you dont have to sub anyone else in or out...

three wide shotgun set....ridley, lee, shep, RR, TT...thats our identity....those are our "players" leave them on the field...

bring in ford to spell ridley, bring in ware to spell shep...simple as that and you dont miss a beat...

now, wheres my check for 4 mill?

Crowton is a quick/short pass play caller. These throws require a quick release. Jefferson can't execute these throws.

This. JL has the ability to make all the throws. JJ hasn't shown that yet, so h limited the play calling.

Note: not IN ANY WAY giving Crowton a pass.

Okay. Thanks for clearing that up...makes sense to me now.
