Understand lodging is hard to find. Any suggestions from the troops?

Council Bluffs Iowa. short walk over pedestrian Bridge to downtown Omaha and closer to the casino 
(Only downside is kinda far from Barretts but everything really is)

Just don’t stay right on top of TD and you’ll be fine. We went there in 2017 and stayed about 20 mins out and was totally fine. Fwiw it was like 70/30 LSU to UF fans there. Was my first time going and was an absolute blast. Went to the zoo, the old park, the mattress factory... would definitely go again.

Look in council Bluffs. It’s right across the river from Omaha. Big Harrsh’s Casino there. They shuttle from the hotel to TD Am.

Stayed at the Hyatt Place last time and walked to the games. They have a few in that Old Market area.

And there are plenty of hotels within walking distance to the stadium. Also most hotels have a shuttle service that will bring you to the game and back to the hotel for free. Council Bluff side is cheaper and like going from Port Allen to LSU
