One of the local Sports personalities up here, Chuck Howard, just opened Lake Norman Bar and Grille up on the lake, but he's also a Gamecock. Nevertheless, he apparently has a ton of TVs and I'm sure our game will take priority over the others.
As for other spots......Might try Angry Ales on Montford Road. They serve tallboys and have a ton of TVs both inside and outside.
All of the Hickory Tavern's are pretty good as well.
Really no other places jump out at me. Picasso's on East Boulevard should be a good spot.

You guys are REALLY tempting me. Am going there for my nephew's wedding, and will probably (though not sure) get stuck doing some family stuff for at least some time on Saturday evening (wedding on Sunday afternoon). My brother I'm driving with is also a huge LSU fan (he'd love it too), but the brother whose kid is getting married is flying in from Cali. and he gets in early Saturday evening. As much as I'd love to go, I'd feel guilty about it so I better pass. I really appreciate the offer!!

The local alumni arse'n will sometimes watch games at Champions at the uptown Marriott. Most of the group going down to Columbia for the game, so nothing is planned this weekend at Champions.

Tell the family that you got food poisoning and have your brother drive you to the "hospital". Since it's a Saturday night the emergency rooms will be full so being gone for several hours shouldn't throw any red flags. When you get back act pissed about missing the LSU game and long the wait was in the emergency room. When you see your other brother sucker punch him for letting his son schedule a wedding during football season.
