Do you honestly believe that the LSU coaching/medical staff is not actively trying to prevent injuries, and figure out why injuries occur when they happen?

It's not travel ball that is an issue.
It's the over use during travel ball that's a problem. People, mainly coaches, need to be better educated. There is nothing wrong with finding the best baseball talent available and have them compete against each other. They just need to understand that pitching a kid too much, and playing year round baseball is going to cause potential problems down the road. That needs to be more important to the people responsible than winning a ring every weekend.

It's not a boogeyman. It's a fact that high profile baseball coaches are millionaires, they can demand anything of a kid trying to make a career out of the sport, and they can deflect blame to those kids for having weak arms or blame their tball coaches. Why should I figure it out? They are getting paid millions. Do you not care about the young men?
