Wednesday: Poché
Friday: Lange
Saturday: Walker if available/Gilbert
Monday: Poché or Wholestaff
Tuesday: the option you didn't use Monday
Wednesday: Lange

No ridiculously short rest for anyone in that scenario, and we always have Hess and the bullpen to step in when needed.

We shouldn't talk about Monday until we get there. Wednesday should be our focus.

What % of the outcome of tomorrow's name is based on the talk on the rant?

Wednesday: Poche
Friday: Lange - This is the only choice
Saturday: Gilbert

CWS 3 Game Champ Series
Monday: Poche
Tuesday: Wholestaff
Wednesday: Lange

Walker is done for the year, I'm pretty sure. The only way he comes back is if he is pain-free and all signs point to it being normal soreness. He "could pitch" Tuesday. 5% chance of that happening. CPM is going to err on side of caution. It's an arm injury.

I get your point, it's nice to speculate, but what if we end up using Gilbert on Friday because Lange got rocked, and we end up winning. then what do we do? start Bain? that's my point. get through Wednesday, depends how long Poche goes tomorrow.

Poche Wed
Lange Fri

McDonald is still throwing high 80's Sat - he has to leave after that to coach Jase's travel ball team
Shultz doesn't want Poche to get the record Mon
Thompson just happens to be in Omaha, he can come down from the booth Tues
Wed can be Johnny Wholestaff if necessary

I find it strange that Walker had no ice or wrap on his arm after he came out???????

Should have pitched poche last night. Then let walker go Friday.

You lead with "shoulda, coulda, woulda" and the go right into a "but if THIS had happened instead" scenario. Lmao.

He was injured before the game. I stand by what I thought on Saturday. Why put poche in if you weren't sure Walker was even going to be able to go on Monday?

Like another poster had said, it seemed a bit careless on Paul's part.

You people really should just wait to surface during football season.

Jared Poche will start Wednesday's game vs. Florida State. If the Tigers win, Alex Lange would face Oregon State on Friday. With another LSU win, Gilbert would be on the mound Saturday vs. Oregon State.
