I’ll say this - 100% not Jump. I do believe CJJ that after that first Wake Forest game in Omaha that Jay did lay out an entire “you will start these days” plan on the whiteboard like he said to get it done. The staff likely does something starting tomorrow to get through a regional and win tomorrow.

I think he does something familiar and goes Hurd. Get 3-4 out of him, and he might be a game 3/4 starter to get out of a regional.

At the end of the day, after 50-60 from Hurd, you should know whether there is a chance or not.

Wouldn’t surprise me at all to see 9 pitchers tomorrow. Give anyone that was supposed to have a pen tomorrow 15-20 pitches and hope it’s enough.
