Who do you pick to come out of the tunnel against McNeese and finish the season out?

Jamarcus sucked in the NFL, but was an ABSOLUTE BEAST in college. I remember him dominating every game. There was a reason he was a #1 pick.

So don’t understand this dumb post, but obviously he’s the choice.

Dude cost LSU a championship in 2006 in Auburn. He also didn’t know the playbook.

ALL OF THEM HAD BETTER OFFENSIVE LINES AND RUNNING BACKS THAN JOHNSON. Give me johnson with his ability to run and the same set of weapons and line as those others. They all had better defenses as well that gave them the ball more often and many times deep in the opponents territory.

Doesn't matter who comes out of the tunnel if you still have Orgeron as HC.

No he did not lol. Two great defenses played that day. It’s really all about having luck on days like those. I’ll say, there wasn’t a single player who cost us the game that day.

You realize you’re advocating for the guy who knowingly and willingly threw a pass behind his back into a sea of defenders.... on purpose...

One of them “cost” us a championship. The other cost us beating a middle of the road (at best) Pac12 team.

Jamarcus Russell was an absolute dominant force in college football. There was really nobody ever else like him. He could throw the ball the entire field just flicking it lol. I have vivid memories of big linebackers just repeatedly bouncing off of him because not one person could tackle him. He was a fuggin beast. He was one of, if not the most, dominant player of his years in college football and it was why he was the #1 overall pick.

Comparing him to these scrubs is embarrassing and insulting. Max Johnson is a dude that is like talent wise a 5-7 round pick at best, if he even develops into a QB that understands how to step up in the pocket, throw an accurate pass, and not be an idiot. And you’re choosing that guy over one of the most dominant QBs in LSU history, and for his years one of the most dominant quarterbacks in college football. He was a one man wrecking crew lol. But hey let’s take the guy that lost to UCLA lol.

FWIW Mettenberger was a way better QB than Max Johnson too. He was Burrow lite

Mett sucked arse under pressure dude.

Don’t ever put Mett even in the same stratosphere as Burrow. Burrow is in a league of his own. Not even Russell touches Burrow.

Of all the times LSU lost and fans blamed the refs, THIS is the one game where they were right.
