quote:You are right, but CJ impressed me more because of his athleticism. He could shoot just as good as Steph Curry because he was a pure shooter just like him. He could cross the halfcourt line and let it fly just like Curry. His ball handling skills was just as good as he made people look silly trying to guard him.
CJ was good but I don't think his best season is on par with what Curry has been doing consistently.
But what impressed me was that he was 4 to 5 inches shorter than Curry and could jump out a gym. Dude had designed alley oop plays for him at LSU where he would catch it like a big man down low and stuff it through. Just great athleticism! It's just too bad he didn't have the kind of career he should have had because he joined the Nation of Islam and that ruined him. If he had come up in these times he would be equally as impressive as Curry.

When I watch Steph Curry, I am reminded of how Chris Jackson played. It is a similar style.
CJ was better in college. Curry is better as a pro, likely because of the style of the game. Curry is also a better shooter.
But, yes, there are definitely similarities.

quote:I don't. I think they were both equally impressive shooters. But no way to find out, we'll never get a 3 point contest like they do today to determine who the better shooter was. lol
Curry is also a better shooter.

I wish Mahmoud a good life. He is a human being that deserves love and compassion like every one else.
