Many of the so-called experts, including Kiper, now say Peterson is the #1 player in the draft as for as talent at a given position. However, that is a totally seperate issue from projectiong the draft order of players since typically the first few teams to pick will be based as much on need as ability. Peterson will obviously go high but not likely to the top two or three teams based on what their supposed needs are.

He's been Mel Kiper Jr's #1 prospect for a while now. But the highest he can go is #2 overall IMO.
