Bc the SEC already addressed it in the past with LSU/OU/Arkansas/Missouri. They want every team playing rivalries/meaningful matchups that weekend.

LSU and Arkansas is bigger than Mizzou and Arkansas?

not necessarily. one team could have been playing football more years than another team. one team could possibly have 3 most played opponents and none of the 3 teams have them.

They’ve already made the decision to keep Arkansas/Missouri

Basing the permanent opponents on the amount of times teams have historically played each other results in a pretty good schedule.

After all, rivals go back years.

no way

that would give Bama LSU, TENN, AUB

I think it will be TAMU, Arky, Ole Miss
the three border states

Arkansas is not even in the conversation right now.

Its going to be Aggies and Ole Miss for 100% certainty and then either Bama, Florida or OU. But the SEC is wanting LSU to play Bama every year because of how much $ that game has drawn. Its been the biggest $ making game in the SEC for the last 20 years.

I agree with LSUDonMCO.
Should be regional as best as one can make it:

LSU —- Ole Miss, aTm, and Arkansas.
I know Miss State is closer in proximity to any of these other three, but at least in my lifetime Miss State has not been able to play competitively against LSU.

No offense to any Mizzou fans, but A&M has no rivalry history with Mizzou whatsoever. We shared a conference for a few years, that’s all. I’m sure they feel the same way about us.

If number of matchups is the criteria, A&M’s top 3 is Texas, Arkansas, and LSU, in that order. (OU, Miss St, and then Mizzou would be the next 3.)
