Now it all makes perfect sense. Les Miles is a man of such strong character, that he was willing to sacrifice the millions of extra dollars that he would have gained by winning the national title, and all of his players dreams of winning a national title, just to get the message across to Jarrett Lee that school is important. Thanks for being a great teacher, Coach Miles.

Doesn't matter if Jared graduated or not, there were others on scholarship that left not to mention the in state players coming in for ee that could get TOPS for this first semester without violating NCAA rules since this is something every Louisiana student can recieve if they qualify. If the scholarship was the problem, LSU could have worked that out.

Article with more info on Patrick Miller's switch to Auburn. It was always a toss-up between LSU & Auburn and the early enrollment and scholarship situation at LSU, with other reasons, tipped the decision to Auburn.
