Travel to these games.
I mean how blessed have we been as college football fans to have these incredible trips and memories to your life….
- 2009 at Washington - getting to go with the guys and play band in dunes and chambers bay before. Sailgate on the water before kick off
2021 - rose bowl usc
2024 - 3 hours before kick having drinks at the Wynne pool before heading the game
2002 - enter sandman, virginia tech
2016 - New York City - then Syracuse
2015 or so Lambeau field against Wisconsin
2005 - Arizona state bc of Katrina
2003 - at Arizona
2011 - Morgantown for gameday show and eerie feeling when they sing “West Virginia” eerie but awesome. Great trip. Caught giants - Philly game next day
Atlanta and dallas and houston, orlando not as great but still a blast
All the years are running together, I know there’s been some other epic ones.
Would never trade playing a cup cake schedule to miss out on what college football is all about. Win lose or draw. Playoffs or not. Let’s compete, if we lose we don’t belong in the first place

Couldn’t you argue it would be better to get a chance to play in more playoff games. These would be against big teams and some would be on the road.

Playing a strong OOC schedule is only asking for trouble. Play the SEC schedule and the rest cupcakes. Its the best way to make a playoff period.

The penalty for losing far outweighs the reward for winning. And you’re right I don’t travel to these games.

USC was an easy opponent
we just lost. UCLA was a joke. I remember everyone acting like USC would be a playoff contender earlier this year

You make great points. I’m all for playing a great non-conference schedule. Makes the season more exciting.

We’ve been to four national championship games in the last 20 years.
Been there done that, 4 times over.
Again, super blessed. If we get more, icing on the cake. It’s not like we are agm and go 8 and 4 every year and never make it.
We been there and done it playing a tough out of conference schedule. It will happen again.

LSU needs to play Mercer or The Citadel AT HOME to start every season.
This nonconference bullshite of playing top 15 teams on the road or a neutral site to start every year has to end now.
