My wife and I got married in NO during the Saints-Cowboys in 2009. We felt horrible some people ended up missing it, but they moved the game last minute and we had an open bar.

My wife's Aggie friend is getting married that day at 6pm. My wife is not pleased, but I think she realizes there's just no way I'm missing this game.

A couple we've never socialized with have invited us to their house for his birthday party THAT NIGHT! Wife wants to go because she says if we don't go, then we miss a chance to 'bond' with them. Uh, hope she has fun bonding!

what if they are swingers?

this is exactly how I feel...

Of course, fall weddings aren't completely out of the question. That's why God created the bye-week.

thats what a friend of mine thought, till the schedule shuffled around, and the bye week became Bama vs LSU a few years back. better to just stay away from football season
