Can someone please explain why people rip Les when he says nothing and then rip him he talks his true feelings.

Because he sounds like an imbecile when he talks, and has usually just done something imbecilic when he refuses to talk.

Miles shouldn't have said that to a recruit, especially a recruit that Miles himself offered a scholarship to.

If Miles's statement is true, then Miles is a dumba$$ for offering the guy in the first place.

If Miles's statement is untrue, then Miles is being an a$$.

Either way, you never know what may happen down the road with a recruit. He could want to transfer later. And this sends a negative message to the recruits you did land, as well as the recruits you're eyeing in the future.

Miles should act as if Kiel's indecision doesn't affect LSU at all, not like it totally got to him.

This ain't hard to understand. Kiel had opportunity to lead a team with NC potential. We had a need in QB and he could fill it. Instead he couldn't wean himself away from Mom and home. That what it boiled down to. Think in long run GK will always wonder if he made the right choice when he is losing at ND and Tigers are playing for NC. GK made decision he was most comfortable with, Tigers only gripe is that he strung us along and cost us a top recruit.

He actually spelled out what he meant pretty clearly. He basically meant that Liggins had the pride and fire to puff out his chest inside enemy territory and declare himself a Tiger. "Come get some, Blackbearries."

LSU got a good class, we'll be fine. No one is in a better position to win games in 2012 and 2013 than we are.

But Miles is letting his frustration show in that clip. The fact is Alabama, Notre Dame, and Texas got LSU commits to flip at the 11th hour. When the HC makes a personal visit on guys who then get flipped, I'm sure it's hard not to take that personally.

That and the perception that he doesn't have the back-bone to do what he wants to do.

I dont have a problem with what he said, but most of the sunshine pumpers on here would be bashing if anther coach would have done the same thing and saying how miles is too classy to do something like that

Not really. I was on topic, but I lumped Kiel, Davis and LC together.

Only one went to ND which was explicitly stated in the post, and related to the level of competition at ND.

You all rip Miles for what he said about Kiel, then totally ignore what he said about Liggins. Dipshits just wanting something to bitch about.

The silver lining I do find in losing the BCSNCG is the effect it has on whiny pricks like yourself. I woke up the next morning with the same amount of oxygen entering my blood as the previous morning. No hair off my arse. I'm starting to really enjoy watching how miserable these self-important pseudo-fans are acting. When I see how sad their lives are, my life looks that much more fantastic.

Why? He cost us a top flight tackle with his waffling. I'm sure Miles wouldn't have even mentioned it if Kiel didn't directly screw LSU twice with his waffling.

There is a difference between being biased and just plain wearing P&G glasses and refusing to see any mistakes Miles might make and blasting anyone who points out what he does do wrong

He didn't screw anyone out of anything, the dude was "committed for about two weeks and never signed a LOI. He did what was right for him. It's a big boy sport, LSU is bigger than one player.

He kept us from getting a top recruit at OT, did he not? Don't talk about what if and who. If he never committed to LSU, we do not lose Miller.

As for the second part, I agree. Which is why this innocuous statement by Miles is being blown completely out of proportion. If Kiel can't handle it, I'm really glad he's not a Tiger. If he can handle it, why does it matter?

There is also a difference between recognizing mistakes and dwelling on it like a child.

There is a difference in people pointing out what he does do wrong and the people who are constantly shitting on everything related to miles. It is getting out of control and embarrassing at this point.

No, the other "recruit" decided to go to another school. It appears he was only committed to LSU as long as he could have a scholarship 6 months early. He likes Auburn better now. Like Kiel, it's for the best.

It's a big boy ballgame. If Miller were really committed to LSU, maybe he should take that up with Les who gave Kiel Millers spot LONG after Miller committed.

Not sure what Kiel couldn't "handle." You sunshine pumpers seem to be instant psychiatrists now. I guess Miller "couldn't handle" Les giving his spot to Kiel.
