Seemed like a sexy hire in the moment and thought we’d see improvement. Quite the opposite happened. Just like the “Air Canada” we thought we were getting a few years ago.

Fair analogy?

Something is not right in the locker room. I think it goes deeper than Bo Pelini sucks

Safe hire, but wasn’t in demand from the rest of cfb.

No. O didn’t want Canada in the first place, Bo is his handpicked replacement for Aranda and he spent the whole offseason hyping how much better our defense would be. And frankly, if O would have let Canada run the offense, it would have been better than what we got, our defense is atrocious with Bo completely in charge.

The defense is broken. Bo is responsible. It’s on him.

Not really. Canada was a decent hire and could have worked if O let’s him install his entire offense and gets out of the way.

Most of us knew Pelini was a bad hire.

It NEVER seemed like a sexy hire. Who the hell ever thought this? There’s a reason he was coaching at Youngstown state. It’s because nobody else wanted him.

. Agreed. The Canada saga is not at all comparable with the Pellini one. This defense is historically abominable. The offense under Canada was just meh. And you are right- this goes to O’s judgement.

The only thing the Canada hire and Pelini hire have in common is the both didn’t work out.

Canada was at least an interesting hire on paper. He did some innovative things on offense, it just didn’t work because Orgeron wouldn’t get out of his way.

Pelini was a washed up coach that nobody else wanted when we hired him. Nobody thought the Pelini hire was a good hire.

Canada with limited QB options actually had good games. Way better than the Pelini shite show.

I tend to agree.. there is a huge effort and leadership problem. Hope it is not some social justice issue.

Earlier in the summer a few players sent out the same three or four paragraph message.. suggesting that they would like racists to unfollow them on IG. The intention was honest and reasonable... They could have gotTen deluged with crap... I hope not.

The confusion about the first social justice march.

These just excuses.. the margin of winning and losing in the SEC is really tight. Does not take much to,get on the wrong side of it.

Bo Pelini, Lou Tepper, or a local High School coach? Pick one.

Not trying to make a point. Just bored and naming terrible ideas.

you are right, but from what i see O is still defending Pelini....he will completely lose the fanbase(what little is left) if he doesn't get rid of Pelini soon.

Tepper cost Dinardo his job when he got refused to fire him
