What a joy to watch. A thoroughbred horse of a pitcher. Probably not going to see 101 in the 9th again for a long long time. Let’s all sit back and take every last moment in of his last start at the box. Geaux Tigers!

This is about as dumb as the OP to compare Skenes THAT horse. No disrespect to Skenes.
For those of us who saw what happen the year of his Triple Crown, there has never been a baseball player in college and may be one or two ever in Major league baseball that could compare to what that horse did.
The funny thing is, those records are still standing 50 years later.
At the Belmont in 1973, on a mile and a half track, Secretariat hit 49 mph. That is insane.
Just last year, we saw a pitcher from Tennessee throw harder.

Sorry that isn't true. The fastest MPH that any thoroughbred has ever hit is 43.97 MPH and that was in 2008 by a filly named Winning Brew. Secretariat hit 39 MPH
