Seems our staff lets a lot of talent go through because they don't fit in to the system. Don't know if your comment was sarcasm or not but holds some merit.

who has had a good NFL career that slipped through the LSU system?

Patriots drafted Marquise Hill and he didn't do well for them. Belichick can make a mistake.

yes, randall gay, kevin faulk, marquise hill, and jarvis green were definetly the cornestones of the SB Patriots teams

As one who has watched every game Faulk has played in a Patriots uniform, I can tell you that he in fact was a "cornerstone" of each of those 3 SB winning teams - ask Tom Brady and Bill Belicheck. When Faulk re-upped with the Patriots a few days ago, everyone in New England breathed a huge sigh of relief.

IMHO, terrible assessment and evaluation of a great Tiger who didn'g live long enough to really prove himself as a pro. WTF was that hair?

nearly two inches higher than the average wide receiver in the last three years....could be a second-round steal

I'm related to a couple of teamates of his from Elton. They said that he would dunk like stupid and recruiters loved his leaping ability for his size.
As far as the Patriots, Bill B. Loves those mid-round picks. He has traditionally taken Saban's players in the past b/c of what they are able to do in prep for his style of D. What he likely sees in woods, is someone who is bright and teachable, PLUS this guy is just a really good guy.
I think he could be a good fit there.

I had to agree with you, I went to school at the same high school, but a few years older than him. He was always happy to take a picture or sign something for anyone, his parents have alot do to with his character
