Everything he said is exactly how a real fisherman who loves being on the water feels. He should get a beach house/camp on the coast and start his try at saltwater. To me, inshore saltwater is the best.

Sprayed and killed all the submerged vegetation. Stocked too many grass carp and wrong kind, over populating. Vegetation is slowly coming back but wealthy lake house owners dont want fisherman and vegetation. I live on False River and a fisherman. It does have descent bass fishing, few crappie, good bluegill and excellent catfish.

Old River is doing just fine and dandy, and since it floods annually there isn't much LDWF can do to frick it up for more than a year or two.

Thanks. I thought the vegetation was killed when the parish changed drainage to dump New Roads' storm water into the lake causing it to silt up.
