Just think if LSU had been able to exert just a little pressure against opposing QB's using just the D-Linemen.

Then PP would have looked like Deion Sanders/Mike Haynes/Champ Bailey all rolled into one.

Amazing that PP was able to shine even with our shitty D-Line play.

Probably so but that doesn't change the fact that Peterson didn't get snubbed this year.

He carried the D all year bro, and you pick one play and try to bring him down. Yeah, he bit on ONE play all year and we had ZERO rush on a terrible qb. He was trying to make something happen, something the offense sure couldn't.

Actually he got burned about 3 times all season which isn't bad at all considering some of the great QB's LSU played. He outshown Arenas as far as I was concerned and should have been 1st team All SEC. Arenas is good but got more recognition for his return exploits which carried over to voting amongst the conference writers and coaches. I still say had PP not cramped up in the 'Bama game LSU wins in spite of the injuries and horrid officiating. He will be a Thorpe contender from day one next season.

Not to mention the fricking Alabama game. There were MANY reports as to why he had the constant cramping late in the game but I'm not even going to bother with that shite right now. Let's put it this way, if the rumors are true he wasn't acting like a fricking leader in the days leading up to the game.

who gives a shite

he shut shite down all game, and if brandon taylor makes a tackle no ones even talking about him getting silly on thursday or whatever it was

You forgot about the "clock it" grad assistant. THis guy was the MVP on offense trying to relay Crowton's shifts and audibles with 10 left on teh play clock.

Look, I don't want to bash the kid because he's the best defensive player we've had in some time. But don't act like he was God's gift to college football this year. There were better corners out there that played well in every game. The same can't be said for Peterson. He had his moments.

And of those 4 times they were all big plays. And if Cox wasn't such a shitty QB Green would have had an 80 something yard TD.

He's 20, what did you do when you were 20? HE IS ALL AMERICAN!! And many believe he is the best ever on D at LSU in just 2 years.

Accept it or just be quiet cause your bashing PP won't be accepted by any football fan in the world.

I think he probably was 1st team because of the sacks and pressures he got on the corner blitz.

I love these arguments. When I was 20 I was studying. I'm a nerd at heart.

Anyway, I think the kid will be the greatest to ever to play at LSU. I just think it's retarded to cry like a little bitch because two corners, that had better years than he did, were voted above him.

The only one crying on this thread is you. Congrats to Peterson for the honor, even if Kanye here doesn't think you deserve it.

Link to the stats that support this!! Arenas never got beat? Hwo was he better? Or was his teams D better? Exactly, you can't prove your own words. ESPN loves, and I mean LOVES Saban and Meyer! And even they had to acknowledge Perterson was one of, if not the best corner in America. That's national, not a few pissed off coaches who will never vote for an LSU player over their own.

No one had a better year at corner, period. STFU, you are hurting your NFL draft stock MR ARENAS!

After watching our offense this year, I understand now why we have so many punters on scholarship.

I was quitting this thread until this dumb arse comment. Does not having the safety over the top negate the fact that Peterson was beat badly on the play?
