So many times, post-season honors lean heavily on pre-season reputation. For instance, our own Ciron Black. Had a tough year...injuries etc. But had the hype going in so he got the post season honor going out. Much the same with Arenas and Hayden.....though all 3 of them (including Peterson in that mix) had really good years.

You obviously didn't watch the game. PP WAS playing like a coward. If it was 3rd and 5 he was playing 8 yards off. If it was 3rd and 11 he was playing 13 yards off.
After he got burned for that TD he crawled into a shell and ceded 1st down after 1st down after 1st down.

Come on man. There were some pretty respected people in this town that said they were getting pictures texted to them of a bunch of players the Thursday night before the Bama game. I understand they're kids and all but don't sit there and act like it didn't happen. I certain starting left tackle was also out late and he played like shite in the game also. He got Jefferson knocked out of the fricking game.

I'm guessing by some of these post that people watched Arenas and Haden all year and they were never once beaten on a play.
PP was huge for a us. He gave LSU a lockdown corner on a defense that had ZERO pass rush all year. Not to mention that he was on an island all year in the secondary. Watch film and see if Bama and Florida had Safeties out of position or late to a play as much as LSU.
If all three went to the NFL this year, PP would be drafted the highest.

Peterson will be 1st team everything the next two years if he stays that long.

I would be totally shocked and way off base if Peterson were around for 2 more years.
If all goes according to plan I think he will be the highest rated CB on the board next year, which would make him a top ten draft pick imo.

Hell, Mel Kiper said Peterson would be the highest rated CB if he came out THIS YEAR just based on his measurables.
