Just a weird day today. If we play this same team 10 times with same players, we win 7 or 8/10.

Pitching was just as bad. We were outmatched by a better team today

I just watched Iowa get 3 hits in a row all on first pitch fastballs. Our guys are not aggressive enough at the plate and fall behind in the count on every at bat.

This was sad

That's just it...there's not necessarily a "problem". We got our butts handed to us by a pitcher with great stuff. Yes we swung a bit too much at pitches outside the zone, but there's not necessarily a huge problem when we lost 1 game. If you think 1 game defines a season in baseball, you're crazy. The 2009 LSU cws team lost 2 out of 3 at home against a sub. 500 Tennessee team...that's truly just baseball

Seems to me the rant is the one that needs to put the news articles down
