I say we implement some plays where we just let him run go routs and throw it up to him. He HAS to be a decent enough catcher for us to be able to do that. Thoughts?

The whole send the fastest man on the team deep and throw it up quite working in Jr. high football.

There's a reason we've never thrown it deep to Trindon...

SUREFIRE Pick...but not the 6 since Trindon will run 'em down!

Half JL throws are close to the turf or in it so it would work to tiny TH. Or you know the db will give him tons of room on the line so do a quick wide throw and have him make something happen.

More like the DB will line up right on Trindon and knock him on his arse immediately, now his speed is neutralized and TH is removed from the play.

we need to stop forcing touches to TH every game. He's just not that effective. I would rather see JMitch get those end arounds and reverses. TH has no wiggle and can't turn up field fast enough. He's all straight line speed.

Yeah, I wonder about that. There's no question he's really fast but they were saying the same thing about Skyler Green (just look at him, he's speedy and a huge threat!) but for some reason neither seemed to do *that* much. Not bad, but not up to the hype either.

You're right..He wasn't shaking Florida defenders out of their shoes...or he didn't split SC last year....He has more than just speed his feet are quick and he has great balance..we havn't given him the ball with blocking or room!!!

He's got more tha enough moves to put on a defender, and if that doesn't work he will just fly on by him. His only downside is height. He could be used more effectively though.

Agreed here. Those on here who find fault with the idea have good points -- i.e., he's too short, the coaches must know something we don't, etc. However, the reason I'd like to see him out there in this capacity is that the defense has to commit to him. If the defense has to worry about him, it should free up other guys. TH is not an all-American receiver, but if he is completely behind the defenders let's see what happens if JL can get the ball in the area.

He overthrows six-foot-something receivers. How does anybody think he could hit a midget.

Makes sense, I guess.
