Parking questions for Aggie game

I will be driving in to town for the Texas A&M game. We will be arriving late afternoon on the day before. I have tickets but no parking passes. I realize there are lots for first come first serve. I do want to spend some time on campus strolling down memory lane but I am not sure I want to spend 10 to 12 hours prior to the game. So my question is ...could I park my car in a lot the night before and catch Uber to my hotel. Then catch a ride to the campus the next day and of course drive my car out after the game?

I do this all of the time except I just take my car down there that morning and park it.

Just park somewhere off of Dalrymple and enjoy the walk. You people make too much of the parking thing.

You shouldn't have problems parking on Friday in free parking designated areas before game and ubering back and forth. Some of the lots do not open until 5 though on Fri before gameday. Some of the outlier lots closer to levee, further away you can probably get into anytime Friday.
Check lsu website and they might have single game parking passes still available as well if you would prefer to do that.

LSUMBB has a game that Friday night which will affect some parking lots on Friday evening.
Best to just fork out the $30 and buy a pass to Lot 407 across form the Vet School. You can arrive whenever you want for that lot.

Don't listen to this. You will be able to very easily park Friday, if that's what you want to do.
If you are going to Uber out and back in, why not just Uber to the game Saturday, then Uber back out?

Do not listen to this advice. Ubers are insane after a game on campus. Park in free lot Friday after five and then Uber to campus that morning.

I wouldn't know this. Never did it.
I was just thinking of it from the standpoint of having to Uber twice regardless, so why bother with the parking.
