Haven’t been to a game since 2015 since I live in Georgia. Will be at game this weekend. What time do you need to arrive on campus to get public parking?

I’m thinking 8 am.

Too late? Too early ?

Thanks

If you aren’t there yet, you’re already too late

8 AM should give you plenty of time.

The UGA game was a cluster for traffic, but I think it was because it was a 2:30 game.

With a late kickoff, you should be aight.

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but I have a parking question also. A buddy of mine bought a spot in Touchdown Village 2. Are these spots first come, first serve, or is the permit #, on the pass, the actual parking space. He had a spot #, in lot 412 for the GA game, but was fcfs when he got there.

8am is plenty early enough for good parking.

People on here will say that every single possible free parking spot on or near campus will be occupied by 9 a.m but in reality it’s more like 1 or 2 p.m.

Trust me. Many of the posters on here are out of touch with reality.

If you get there by 8 AM you will be in pretty good shape. If you get there after lunch, just turn around and go home, though!

FWIW, be sure to look at the parking map and pick a lot that sends you in the right direction after the game.

ok I’m sure it is... is yalls agenda to try to make sure everyone gets to campus as early as possible? so you tell people who ask for advice that all free parking is gone hours before it actually is?

no agenda at all, man...we attend games there every weekend and see how the traffic stacks. people who get there really early are generally looking to get their normal tailgate spot

I plan to be on campus by 10:00. Where can you point me that should have free parking still available. I don't mind walking.

I've been turning down free tickets for three years because I hate the parking and traffic crap. I couldn't resist saying yes for Saturday.
