Coming down for the state game this weekend with the fam. How's the parking situation? The last game we were down for was 2007 so I'm guessing things have changed a bit. Obviously would like to park for free somewhere if it's close enough. Thanks and geaux tigers

All depends on how early you arrive. Lot near Walk Ons or Kirby Smith are decent free options.

If you get in early enough, parking by the Cow Palace or along S. Stadium Drive by Campus Lake (north side of Cow Palace)...makes it really easy to get out heading back north via I-10/12 and I-55...

I parked there yesterday and as much as I don't like to say ANYTHING positive about Joe Alleva'a gameday management, this was a piece of cake to get back to the interstate going up Stanford....

This entire lot is free and usually plenty spots if you get there before noon(~6 hrs before kickoff). It's a dorm lot but fairgame and often unused.

Alleva despises people who ask about free parking. He's on a mission to destory tailgating vand wants less people on campus

$20 at McKinley high school. Kind of a walk, but easy in easy out.

Park on the old front nine. It's free, but get there before 9:00 am to guarantee yourself a spot.

I hate to give away my goto spot for big games but....

This July street neighborhood is extremely safe(literally a brpd on corner all GameDay), free to park on right of way. And 1 mile walk(go thru apt complexes. Humans can Wiggle thru very loose vehicle gates). This secret honey hole has never let us down in a decade and had plenty free spots 2 hrs before kickoff Saturday.

How early do you plan arriving?

How early do you plan on leaving the game.

Your answer to both questions are needed for suggestions.

Plan on getting to BR around lunch, plan on leaving the game once all the players are done playing the game. We don't leave early no matter what

I gave him two genuine free parking options. One is for cupcake games or getting to a big game way early.
The other is a sure thing but a mile walk to TS. Goober.
