ok, so those of you who tailgate on the parade grounds will be able to tailgate there.

the only real restrictions are:
limited parking -- parking in front of Boyd hall will be limited...but you can still park in the semi circle and coates.
also they will tell you to keep your music down until it is over...last year that was around 10am

other than that, everyone should be ok. I am basing this info from past experiences

from what i saw he didn't really know what was going on.

They haven't told anyone anything about this...so i doubt they are going to turn away 1000s of people on the day of the game....wouldn't they try to notify as many people as possible first??

It was announced no tailgating because of LSU salutes. I'm guessing parking around there will be curtailed also.

Plus its so far away from GameDay

Nunez doesn't know nor does he have control of the PG. The union controls the parade grounds.

We tailgate in the Parade Grounds. They put flyers on our vehicles last weekend that said no parking from 6am until 11am cause of the Ceremony. We are across from the Union. Not sure if they put those on all the cars in the circle or just the ones near their setup. They have always let us tailgate there though and the flyer didn't say anything about not bein' able to. Same rules as the last 4 years we have been tailgating there.

i respect our veterans and whoever else it is they're saluting. But, seriously, c'mon!!! You can re-schedule this event for another time and another day when there is silence and respect on campus. You cant change the time of the football game and the mood of the tailgaters for the biggest game of the year. i know randy gurie, the man who has been in charge of this event for several years now. he's the worst man i've ever met and would never do anything to please him. Our tailgate is right across from Pleasant Hall w/ a paid DJ so he can pay me in cash if he wants my music turned down.

I spoke up on here I was shocked that LSU Salutes refused to move to a different location. But was quickly shot down.

Yea, bad PR move to tell a Veterans Day ceremony to move to make way for something like Gameday...

Bnap, we're good on our side of the PG...only thing that might be keeping you from setting up the dome is the cannons which are usually in that vicinty.

They'll be out there by 7am getting ready so you'll know.

Salutes has always been on gamedays. Great way to get people out there to honor our Veterans and have visitors see our rich military history.

We've setup on the PG for 3 years now with salutes there...the 21-cannon salute gets me amped more than most games...

Randy retired 2 years ago. If you dislike him then you really have a dislike for this University.
