But, to tell you how far we have come...when in school in the late 70s, the cheerleaders were forbidden from leading the cheer, "Go to Hell Ole Miss." That was considered offensive....

Doesn't matter. The university doesn't like the image it portrays and has asked the students to stop. The students won't stop so away it goes.

I'll agree 100% with the lack of originality from the student section. I was sitting outside the gates starting at 12:00 for the MSU game. Meanwhile, those that sit in the endzone and paint their chests were trying to figure out what message to spell out. Their consensus?

1. I was personally disgusted because I prefer dogs to humans, though I'm probably alone in this regard.
2. It took them at least three hours to figure that one out.
3. That's the best they could do.

Its the BCM students so they cant get too offensive or vulgar with it. They try to keep it as clean as possible and it doesnt always work

Living on a Prayer... maybe if they did it at halftime, but doesn't fit to play it with 5:00 left in the game.
Callin' Baton Rouge, or whatever it's called... I realize it's a "staple" but it's idiotic to hear when the only words people know are Baton Rouge and Louisiana.
